Product Description
The IBM ALBJ (feature code ALBJ, part number 03JK178) provides two I/O adapter cards. Each card has four 16 Gb FC ports with shortwave SFP transceivers. The pair adds 16 Gb Fibre Channel connectivity to a FlashSystem 5200 control enclosure (machine type 4662, models 6H2 and UH6). Ports can auto-negotiate to 8 Gb for compatibility with slower fabrics and are FC-NVMe hardware-ready. Feature ALB3 is the updated, functionally equivalent 16 Gb FC 4-port adapter pair for the same platform.
