The IBM AHBD is a pair of 16 Gb Fibre Channel 4-port adapter cards for IBM FlashSystem 9200 control enclosures.

Product Description

The IBM AHBD (feature code AHBD) supplies a matched pair of 16 Gb Fibre Channel adapter cards. Each card has four 16 Gb FC ports with shortwave SFP transceivers. The pair provides eight 16 Gb FC ports total for host attachment, replication, and system clustering. Feature AHBD is the updated feature code for this adapter pair on FlashSystem 9200 systems. The previous feature code is AHB3. Ports support auto-negotiation to lower speeds for compatibility with existing Fibre Channel fabrics. The adapters support both SCSI Fibre Channel and FC-NVMe.
