    Drives for IBM FlashSystem 7200

    IBM FlashSystem 7200 (2076-824) supports a wide range of high-performance NVMe and SAS drives. The control enclosure uses front-loading NVMe drives (IBM FlashCore Modules, industry-standard NVMe SSDs, and Storage Class Memory), while SAS expansion enclosures (2076-12G, 2076-24G, and 2076-92G) support additional SSD and HDD capacity for tiered storage.

    Product Description

    The IBM FlashSystem 7200 delivers ultra-low latency and high throughput using NVMe-attached drives in the 2U control enclosure. Customers can choose IBM FlashCore Modules with built-in hardware compression and encryption, industry-standard NVMe SSDs, or Storage Class Memory (SCM) drives. Capacity can be further expanded with SAS SSDs and HDDs in the supported expansion enclosures. All drives are fully supported by IBM Storage Virtualize software and are ideal for high-performance environments, including those connected to IBM Power Systems.
