    The IBM Storwize V7000 Gen1 is an enterprise-class, virtualized midrange block storage system designed for SAN environments. It combines advanced storage virtualization, thin provisioning, real-time compression, Easy Tier automated tiering, and FlashCopy snapshot capabilities to deliver high performance, efficiency, and flexibility.

    Ideal for consolidating heterogeneous storage, reducing costs, improving application availability, and supporting growing data demands in mid-sized to large enterprises. The V7000 Gen1 supports a wide range of disk drives (SAS, NL-SAS, SSD) and can scale up to hundreds of terabytes with clustered configurations.
