Available in SFF (Small Form Factor), LFF (Large Form Factor), and high-density configurations, these 2U or 5U rack-mounted units connect via 12 Gbps SAS for reliable tiered storage. They enable DRAID formatting for enhanced data protection, faster rebuilds, and efficient scaling to petabyte levels with hybrid flash-disk setups. Expansion requires a dual-port 12 Gbps SAS adapter (one per node canister, in slot 2 only) in the control enclosure.
