IBM Power9 Disk Drives for AIX and IBM i

These are storage drives for IBM Power9 servers. They work with AIX and IBM i (the modern name for iSeries and AS/400).

Power9 systems support SAS hard drives, SAS solid-state drives, and NVMe flash drives. Most use hot-swap 2.5-inch SFF-3 carriers. You can add more space with EXP24SX expansion drawers.

NVMe Drives

Very fast flash storage with low latency
Available via U.2 slots on some models or PCIe adapters
Ideal for the most demanding applications
