    Product Description

    The IBM Storage FlashSystem 5045 (machine type 4680, models 3P2 and 3P4) is a 2U dual-controller storage system built on IBM Storage Virtualize software. Each node canister features a six-core processor, providing significantly higher performance than the entry-level 5015. The system supports high-speed flash drives, data reduction, snapshots, remote replication, and advanced cyber-resiliency features such as Safeguarded Copy. Available in both 12-bay LFF (3P2) and 24-bay SFF (3P4) configurations, the FlashSystem 5045 is ideal for consolidating storage, supporting virtualized environments, and delivering reliable performance for IBM Power Systems workloads.
