The IBM ALBG is a pair of 16 Gb Fibre Channel 4-port adapter cards for IBM FlashSystem 5015 and 5035 control enclosures.

Product Description

The IBM ALBG (feature code ALBG) supplies a matched pair of 16 Gb Fibre Channel adapter cards. Each card has four 16 Gb FC ports with shortwave SFP transceivers. The pair provides eight 16 Gb FC ports total for host attachment, replication, and system clustering. Feature ALBG is the updated replacement for the earlier ALBB feature on FlashSystem 5015 and 5035 systems. Ports support auto-negotiation for compatibility with existing Fibre Channel fabrics.
