The IBM AHB4 is a pair of 32 Gb Fibre Channel 4-port adapter cards for IBM FlashSystem 9200 control enclosures.

Product Description

The IBM AHB4 (feature code AHB4) supplies a matched pair of 32 Gb Fibre Channel adapter cards. Each card has four 32 Gb FC ports with shortwave SFP transceivers. The pair provides eight 32 Gb FC ports total for host attachment, replication, and system clustering. Feature AHB4 is the previous feature code for this adapter pair on FlashSystem 9200 systems. The updated feature code is AHBE. Ports support auto-negotiation to lower speeds for compatibility with existing Fibre Channel fabrics. The adapters support both SCSI Fibre Channel and FC-NVMe.
