The IBM EMBN (feature code EMBN, part number 78P7317, CCIN 324E) is a 32 GB memory feature made of two 16 GB DDR4 modules. Each module is 3200 MHz with 8 Gb DRAM. The feature uses two memory slots on the Power S1012 9028-21B. The S1012 supports only one memory feature code in the system. Do not mix EMBN with EMBW or EMBY.

- Related features: EMBW (64 GB, 2 × 32 GB) and EMBY (128 GB, 2 × 64 GB) are the larger S1012 features
- Limitations: Only one memory feature code is allowed in a 9028-21B. Install in pairs. First pair in P0-C6 and P0-C9. Second pair in P0-C7 and P0-C8. Not the EM6N feature used in S1014, S1022, and S1024 systems
