The IBM EM6U (feature code EM6U, part number 01GY917, CCIN 32AD) is a 256 GB memory feature made of two 128 GB full-height DDR4 DDIMMs. Each module uses 16 Gb DRAM. The feature uses two DDIMM slots and is the full-height (4U) 128 GB module for the Power S1024 9105-42A. Do not mix this DDR4 feature with DDR5 memory in the same system. Full-height memory is not supported on systems that have an RDX drive.

- Operating systems: IBM i, AIX, VIOS, and Linux on Power
- Related features: EM6N (32 GB), EM6W (64 GB), and EM6X (128 GB) are the low-profile DDR4 features. EM78 is the 512 GB full-height DDR4 feature
- Limitations: Requires two empty DDIMM slots. Full-height memory is not supported when an RDX drive is installed. Do not mix DDR4 and DDR5 in the same system. All memory in the system must be the same height. Follow the system memory plugging rules
