The IBM EM5J (feature code EM5J, part number 03HD814, CCIN 3299) is a 512 GB memory feature made of two 256 GB full-height DDR5 DDIMMs. Each module uses 32 Gb DRAM and runs at 4000 MHz or 4800 MHz depending on the processor type. The feature uses two DDIMM slots. It is the Power11 feature code for the same 256 GB DDR5 module ordered as EMFE on Power10. Full-height memory is not supported on systems that have an RDX drive. Do not mix this DDR5 feature with DDR4 memory in the same system.

- Operating systems: IBM i, AIX, VIOS, and Linux on Power

- Limitations: Requires two empty DDIMM slots. Full-height memory is not supported when an RDX drive is installed. Do not mix DDR4 and DDR5 in the same system. All memory in the system must be the same height. Follow the system memory plugging rules
