Product Description

The IBM AGKN (feature code AGKN, part number 00GH810) is an LTO Ultrium 8 half-high tape drive with a 6 Gb SAS interface. It installs in an IBM TS4300 Tape Library, machine type 3555, models L3A and E3A. The drive writes LTO-8 cartridges at 12 TB native and up to 30 TB compressed (2.5:1). Native data rate is up to 300 MB/s. It reads and writes LTO-7 cartridges. Uninitialized LTO-7 media can be formatted as Type M (M8) at 9 TB native and up to 22.5 TB compressed. Feature AGKM is the related half-high 8 Gb Fibre Channel LTO-8 drive. Feature AGKP is the related full-high 8 Gb Fibre Channel LTO-8 drive.
