The IBM AGKK (feature code AGKK, part number 00GH764) is an LTO Ultrium 7 half-high tape drive with a 6 Gb SAS interface. It installs in an IBM TS4300 Tape Library, machine type 3555, models L3A and E3A. The drive writes LTO-7 cartridges at 6 TB native and up to 15 TB compressed (2.5:1). Native data rate is up to 300 MB/s. It reads and writes LTO-6 cartridges and reads LTO-5 cartridges. Feature AGKJ is the related half-high 8 Gb Fibre Channel LTO-7 drive. Feature AGKL is the related full-high 8 Gb Fibre Channel LTO-7 drive.

The IBM AGKK LTO-7 Half-High SAS Tape Drive is compatible with:
- Libraries: IBM TS4300 Tape Library 3555-L3A base module and 3555-E3A expansion module
- Drive mix: A module can hold up to three half-high drives, or one full-high drive plus one half-high drive
- Hosts: IBM Power Systems with a supported SAS tape adapter, and other hosts with a supported 6 Gb SAS HBA
- Software: IBM i, AIX, and Linux backup applications that support LTO-7 in a TS4300
- Media: LTO-7 and LTO-6 data cartridges for read and write. LTO-5 cartridges for read. Use a universal Ultrium cleaning cartridge
- Limitations: Library drive for TS4300 only. Does not fit TS2900, TS3100, or TS3200 libraries. Does not write LTO-5 cartridges. SAS cables are ordered separately. Confirm library firmware and host adapter support before install
