The IBM ESNK (feature code ESNK, part number 01LU579, CCIN 5B41) is a 300 GB 15K RPM SAS disk drive on a Gen-3 SFF-3 carrier. It ships formatted with 4K (4096-byte) sectors. If reformatted to 4224-byte sectors, usable capacity is 283 GB. The drive includes a 256 MB DRAM cache that can improve performance compared with earlier non-cached disk drives. Feature ESNJ is the physically related IBM i version of this cached 15K SFF-3 family.
