The IBM ESFA (feature code ESFA, part number 00E9966, CCIN 59E1) is a 283 GB 15,000 rpm SAS disk drive mounted on a Generation-3 (SFF-3) 2.5-inch carrier. It is formatted with 4K (4224-byte) sectors for IBM i. If reformatted to 4096-byte sectors, capacity would be 300 GB. The drive is supported in SFF-3 SAS bays in POWER9 system units. Feature ESFB is the physically related AIX/Linux version of this 15K SFF-3 4K family.
