The IBM ESFS (feature code ESFS, part number 00E9938, CCIN 59DD) is a 1.71 TB 10K RPM SAS disk drive formatted with 4K (4224-byte) sectors. It is mounted on an SFF-2 carrier for expansion-drawer SAS bays. If reformatted to 4096-byte sectors, capacity is 1.8 TB. Feature ESFT is the physically identical AIX/Linux version.
