The IBM ESFU (feature code ESFU, part number 00LY579, CCIN 59DE) is a 1.71 TB 10K RPM SAS disk drive formatted with 4K (4224-byte) sectors. It is mounted on an SFF-3 carrier for POWER8 and POWER9 system-unit SAS bays. If reformatted to 4096-byte sectors, capacity is 1.8 TB. Feature ESFV is the physically identical AIX/Linux version.
