This SAS disk drive spins at 15,000 RPM to deliver fast read/write speeds and low latency, making it an excellent choice for demanding workloads on IBM Power9 and compatible systems.
Formatted with 4224-byte sectors for native IBM i compatibility, the drive provides 283GB of reliable storage. It can be reformatted to 4096-byte sectors for AIX or Linux environments, increasing usable capacity to approximately 300GB. Mounted on a Gen-3 carrier tray, it installs directly into SFF-3 SAS bays found in select IBM Power Systems servers.
