Product Description
The IBM EC71 (feature code EC71, part number 03HD074, CCIN 2CF9) is a PCIe Gen4 x8 adapter with two SFP28 ports. Each port supports 25 Gb, 10 Gb, or 1 Gb Ethernet and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE). Feature EC71 is the low-profile version. Feature EC72 is the same adapter in full-height form factor. SFP28 transceivers and cables are ordered separately.

- Systems: IBM Power10 and Power11 servers with a supported low-profile PCIe slot, including S1014 9105-41B, S1022 9105-22A / 9105-22B, S1024 9105-42A, S1112 9242-21B, S1122 9824-22A, and S1124 9824-42A
- Operating systems: IBM i, AIX, VIOS, and Linux on Power at supported levels
- Cables: SFP28 optical or copper cables, ordered separately. Twinax wrap plug 74Y7010 and optical wrap plug 12R9314 for diagnostics
- Limitations: Requires a low-profile slot. Use EC72 for full-height slots. Confirm slot priority and maximum adapter count for the system. SFP28 modules are not included
