The IBM ADSD (feature code ADSD, part number 03JK165) is a 38.4 TB usable FlashCore Module 3 (FCM3). It uses the NVMe interface in a 2.5-inch, 15 mm form factor and includes hardware-accelerated inline compression and always-on AES-256 encryption. IBM rates FCM3 38.4 TB modules at 115.2 TB effective capacity. The 38.4 TB FCM3 has increased compression and decompression throughput versus the 4.8 TB and 9.6 TB FCM3 modules. Feature AGSD is the related 38.4 TB FCM3 feature for FlashSystem 5200 and 5300. Feature AHSC is the related 38.4 TB FCM3 feature for FlashSystem 9500.

- Array rules: All drives in an array must be the same type and capacity
- Limitations: Fits supported FlashSystem NVMe FCM bays only. Does not fit SAS SFF bays or IBM Power Systems SAS/NVMe U.2 server bays. Empty NVMe slots require a drive blank. Confirm firmware level and population rules before install
