Product Description
The IBM ALG1 (feature code ALG1) configures the IBM FlashSystem 5200 (machine type 4662 models 6H2 and UH6) with 512 GB of system cache (256 GB per node canister). This feature establishes the higher base memory configuration for the system and is one of the mandatory cache options selected on initial order. It provides improved performance for caching, high-IOPS workloads, and supports features such as Data Deduplication.
