The IBM ACGN (feature code ACGN) provides an additional 1024 GB of system cache for the IBM FlashSystem 9500 (machine type 4983/4666 model AH8). This upgrade increases the total available cache memory, improving performance for high-IOPS workloads, caching efficiency, and overall system responsiveness. It is used in conjunction with the base cache configuration (feature ACGM) and can be combined with additional cache upgrades to scale system memory capacity.
