Product Description
The IBM ALBR (feature code ALBR) provides two 10 Gb Ethernet I/O adapter cards, each with four 10 GbE ports. This feature is used in the IBM FlashSystem 5300 control enclosure (machine type 4662 model 7H2) to add high-performance Ethernet connectivity for host I/O (iSCSI / NVMe/TCP), clustering, and replication. The cards are supplied without optics; compatible SFP transceivers or direct-attach cables must be ordered separately or customer-supplied.
