The IBM AHSF (feature code AHSF) is a 9.6 TB usable FlashCore Module 4 (FCM4). It uses the NVMe interface in a 2.5-inch form factor and includes hardware-accelerated inline compression and always-on AES-256 encryption. It is designed for IBM FlashSystem 9500 control enclosures. Related 9.6 TB FCM4 feature codes are ADSF for FlashSystem 7300 and AGSF for FlashSystem 5200 and 5300. IBM rates this 9.6 TB FCM4 at approximately 28.8 TB effective capacity at a 3:1 compression ratio. Actual effective capacity varies by workload.
