The IBM 9848-AG8 is the three-year warranty model of the FlashSystem 9200 control enclosure. It is a 2U rack-mount system with 24 NVMe drive slots for IBM FlashCore Modules or industry-standard NVMe SSDs. Dual node canisters provide active-active processing, cache, and host connectivity. The system supports Fibre Channel and Ethernet host attachment plus SAS expansion enclosures. IBM Storage Virtualize software delivers data reduction, encryption, Easy Tier, and clustering of up to four control enclosures. Machine type 9848 indicates the three-year warranty option. Model AG8 is the standard control enclosure.
