Product Description
The IBM TS2350 (machine type 3580, model S53) is a stand-alone LTO Ultrium 5 tape drive with a 6 Gb SAS interface. It writes LTO-5 cartridges at 1.5 TB native and up to 3.0 TB compressed (2:1). Native data rate is up to 140 MB/s. It reads and writes LTO-4 cartridges and reads LTO-3 cartridges. The drive is an external unit for direct host attachment. It is not a library drive.

- Media: LTO-5 and LTO-4 data cartridges for read and write. LTO-3 cartridges for read. WORM media supported. Use a universal Ultrium cleaning cartridge
- Mounting: Desktop or optional rack shelf
- Limitations: Stand-alone drive only. Does not fit a TS4300, TS3100, or TS3200 library. Does not read LTO-2 or earlier cartridges. SAS cables are ordered separately. Confirm host adapter and operating system support before install
