The IBM 3580 Model H23 is an external tabletop LTO Ultrium 2 tape drive. It provides a native capacity of 200 GB (400 GB with 2:1 compression) per cartridge and a sustained data rate of up to 35 MB/s (70 MB/s compressed). The drive uses an Ultra/Wide SCSI HVD (High Voltage Differential) interface. It supports read/write of LTO-2 media and can also read and write LTO-1 media. Part numbers associated with the model include 18P7226 and 18P7269.
