The IBM ESNP (feature code ESNP, part number 01LU580, CCIN 5B45) is a 600 GB 15K RPM SAS disk drive on a Gen-3 SFF-3 carrier. It ships formatted with 4K (4096-byte) sectors and includes 256 MB DRAM cache. If reformatted to 4224-byte sectors, capacity is 571 GB. Feature ESNN is the physically identical IBM i version.

- Limitations: Fits only SFF-3 bays. Does not fit EXP24S / EXP24SX (SFF-2) drawers or older SFF-1 bays. Verify firmware levels and population rules via IBM documentation.
