    • IBM Storwize V7000 Gen2 Control Enclosure Base control enclosure (2U, dual controllers). Supports 24× 2.5" or 12× 3.5" drives internally, 16 Gb FC and 10 Gb iSCSI host ports, and expansion up to 760+ drives. Core platform for virtualized SAN storage with compression and tiering support.
    • IBM V7000 Gen2 24F Expansion Enclosure 2U expansion unit with 24× 2.5" SAS/SATA/SSD bays. Connects via 12 Gb SAS (Mini-SAS HD). Enables high-density flash and hybrid configurations with Easy Tier automated tiering.
    • IBM V7000 Gen2 12F Expansion Enclosure 2U expansion unit with 12× 3.5" SAS/SATA bays. Supports large-capacity HDDs for bulk storage. Connects via SAS chain to V7000 Gen2 control enclosure.
    • IBM V7000 Gen2 SAS/SATA/SSD Drives Compatible 2.5" and 3.5" SAS/SATA HDDs (600 GB–12 TB) and SSDs (800 GB–15.36 TB+). Enterprise-grade drives with 12 Gb SAS interface for performance and capacity in V7000 Gen2 arrays.
    • IBM V7000 Gen2 Cache Battery (FRU) Supercapacitor cache battery pack (various FRU part numbers). Provides write cache protection during power loss. Hot-swappable, essential for data integrity in dual-controller Gen2 systems.
    • IBM V7000 Gen2 Power Supply Unit Redundant/hot-swap power supply (various wattages, e.g., 900 W–1200 W). Dual PSUs per enclosure for high availability. Compatible with all V7000 Gen2 control and expansion canisters.
    • IBM V7000 Gen2 Controller Canister Replacement controller canister (single node). Includes CPU, memory, host ports (16 Gb FC/10 Gb iSCSI), and SAS expansion ports. FRU-matched for non-disruptive maintenance on V7000 Gen2 systems.
    • IBM V7000 Gen2 SAS Cables & Backplanes Mini-SAS HD cables, internal backplanes, and interconnects. Required for expansion chaining, drive connectivity, and high-availability configurations in V7000 Gen2 enclosures.
