The IBM InfoPrint 6500 (also known as the IBM 6500) is a family of line matrix impact printers designed for high-volume continuous forms printing. Models include V05/V5P (500 LPM), V10/V1P (1000 LPM), V15 (1500 LPM), and V20 (2000 LPM). Cabinet models provide quieter operation, while pedestal models offer open access. The printers support continuous forms from 3 to 17 inches wide and up to six-part forms. Standard interfaces include serial and parallel, with optional Ethernet, coax, twinax, and wireless options. They include an intelligent ribbon system with high-capacity ribbons and support for remote monitoring.
