The IBM AHB8 (feature code AHB8, part number 01LL634) provides two dual-port 100 GbE RoCEv2 adapter cards for the IBM FlashSystem 9500 (machine type 4983/4666 model AH8). These high-performance adapters deliver 100 Gbps Ethernet connectivity supporting RoCE v2, iSCSI, and NVMe over Fabrics protocols. The pair ensures redundancy and high availability for host attachment, clustering, and replication in demanding enterprise environments. Optics are typically ordered separately.
