Product Description

The IBM ADTC (feature code ADTC, part number 03JK614) is a 1.6 TB 2.5-inch NVMe Storage Class Memory (SCM) drive. SCM drives provide the lowest latency of the FlashSystem 7300 NVMe drive types and are intended for small-capacity, high-performance workloads. A FlashSystem 7300 control enclosure supports a maximum of 12 SCM drives. SCM drives in the same RAID array must be the same capacity.

Array rules: All drives in an array must be the same type and capacity. Do not mix ADTC SCM drives with FlashCore Modules or industry-standard NVMe SSDs in the same array
Limitations: Fits supported FlashSystem NVMe bays only. Maximum 12 SCM drives per control enclosure. Does not fit SAS SFF bays or IBM Power Systems SAS/NVMe U.2 server bays. Empty NVMe slots require a drive blank. Confirm firmware level and population rules before install
