The IBM 9242-21T S1112 Power11 4-Core AIX Server Tower comes configured with a 4-core POWER11 processor, 64 GB DDR5 memory, 1.6 TB enterprise NVMe storage, AIX support, PowerVM Enterprise Edition, dual redundant power supplies, and a full set of enterprise features. The server supports hot-plug components and is the deskside counterpart to the 9242-21B rack S1112.

- Operating systems: AIX 7.3 with supported TLs and service packs. AIX 7.2 with supported TLs in Power9 compatibility mode. Linux on Power when mixed partitions are required
- Storage / expansion: Additional NVMe U.2 drives for AIX/Linux
- Networking: Built-in Ethernet plus optional PCIe adapters
- Limitations: 4-core tower only. Maximum 64 GB DDR5 on 9242-21T. AIX 7.2 LPARs run in Power9 compatibility mode. Match firmware, HMC level, and AIX TL/SP to feature EJMT
