The IBM Power System S814 (machine type 8286 model 41A) with feature code EPXK provides a 4-core POWER8 processor running at 3.02 GHz. Each core includes 512 KB of L2 cache and 8 MB of L3 cache. The 4-core configuration supports a maximum of 64 GB of memory using 16 GB CDIMM features. Internal storage uses SFF-3 SAS bays with an integrated RAID controller. The system includes hot-plug PCIe Gen3 slots, dual hot-plug power supplies, and EnergyScale technology. It is available in rack-mount or desk-side tower form factor.
