The IBM ESBB (feature code ESBB, part number 00LY621, CCIN 5B10) is a 387 GB Enterprise SAS solid-state drive formatted with 4K (4224-byte) sectors. It is mounted on an SFF-2 carrier for installation in EXP24SX expansion drawers. This enterprise SSD is rated at 10 Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD) over a five-year period. Feature ES95 is a physically related IBM i feature for this same 4K SFF-2 family.

- Limitations: Fits only SFF-2 bays. Does not fit POWER8/POWER9 system-unit SFF-3 bays or older SFF-1 drawers. Cannot be mixed in the same array with 5xx-byte sector drives. Cannot be reformatted to 5xx-byte sectors. Verify firmware levels and population rules via IBM documentation.
