The IBM 3573-8344 (feature code 8344) is an internal full-high LTO Ultrium 6 Fibre Channel tape drive sled. It is engineered as a drive module for the IBM TS3100 (3573-L2U) and TS3200 (3573-L4U) tape libraries. This drive delivers high-capacity, high-speed performance for automated backup, long-term archiving, and data protection. It supports native capacities of 2.5 TB per cartridge (up to 6.25 TB compressed) and offers backward compatibility with previous LTO generations.
