The Ethernet/IEEE 802.3 Adapter/HP provides a single attachment to one Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision Detect Local Area Network.
The feature consists of an adapter card and internal code which supplies Ethernet version 2 and IEEE 802.3 Media Access Control (MAC) plus IEEE 802.2 Logical Link Control (LLC) functions.
