The IBM 1947 (feature code 1947, part number 74Y6479, CCIN 19B0) is a 139 GB 15,000 RPM SAS hard disk drive in an SFF-2 Gen2 carrier. It is formatted with 528-byte sectors for IBM i. The drive is supported in SFF-2 Gen2 SAS bays such as the 5887 EXP24S expansion drawer. It is not supported in Gen1 bays. This is a Power7-era drive. Feature 1917 is the related AIX/Linux feature for the same physical drive family.
