The IBM 1794 (feature code 1794, part number 74Y5296, CCIN 58B4) is a 177 GB SAS solid-state drive using eMLC flash. It is formatted with 528-byte sectors and mounted on an SFF-2 Gen2 carrier. Feature 1793 is the related AIX/Linux feature for the same physical drive. The drive is supported in SFF-2 Gen2 SAS bays such as the 5887 EXP24S expansion drawer. It is not supported in Gen1 bays.
