The IBM ADSG (feature code ADSG, part number 03LG010) is a 19.2 TB usable FlashCore Module 4 (FCM4). It uses a PCIe Gen4 NVMe interface in a 2.5-inch, 15 mm form factor and includes hardware-accelerated inline compression and always-on AES-256 encryption. IBM rates FCM4 19.2 TB modules at 57.6 TB effective capacity and 1 DWPD endurance. Large FCM4 modules use dual compressors for higher compression throughput. FCM4 modules add computational storage assists for real-time ransomware threat detection. Feature AGSG is the related 19.2 TB FCM4 feature for FlashSystem 5300. Feature AHSG is the related 19.2 TB FCM4 feature for FlashSystem 9500.

- Systems: IBM FlashSystem 7300 control enclosures, machine types 4657-924 and 4657-U7D
- Software: IBM Storage Virtualize 8.6.2 or later for full FCM4 threat-detection functions
- Related modules: AGSG (FlashSystem 5300) and AHSG (FlashSystem 9500) are the 19.2 TB FCM4 features for those platforms
- Array rules: All drives in an array must be the same type and capacity. Full FCM4 functions require an all-FCM4 array
- Limitations: Fits supported FlashSystem NVMe FCM bays only. Does not fit SAS SFF bays or IBM Power Systems SAS/NVMe U.2 server bays. Empty NVMe slots require a drive blank. Confirm firmware level and population rules before install
