It occupies a single PCIe Gen3 x8 slot and features two SFP28 ports that auto-negotiate 25 GbE, 10 GbE, and 1 GbE speeds over direct-attach copper (DAC) or fiber optic cabling. The adapter uses Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx-based technology with advanced offload features including RoCE v1/v2 (RDMA), TCP/UDP/IP checksum offload, large send offload (LSO), receive side scaling (RSS), SR-IOV (up to 127 VFs), and hardware-based flow steering.
