The IBM 3572-S7H TS2900 Tape Autoloader offers an efficient solution for data backup and archiving needs. This compact unit integrates a single LTO Ultrium 7 half-high SAS drive in a 1U form factor, making it suitable for rack-mounted or standalone desktop environments. Supporting nine cartridges in a removable magazine with a single I/O station, the TS2900 provides up to 54 TB of native storage capacity, expanding to 135 TB with 2.5:1 compression. The autoloader includes a standard bar code reader for sequential or random access modes, enhancing flexibility and ease of use.
