The IBM ACHM is a dual-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet host interface card (HIC) designed for Storwize V7000 and compatible IBM storage systems. It supports both iSCSI and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocols, enabling converged networking over high-speed Ethernet infrastructure. This card significantly increases host bandwidth for demanding SAN and IP storage workloads.
Featuring two 10 GbE ports with SFP+ connectivity, the ACHM delivers low-latency, high-throughput performance for virtualization, large databases, backup, replication, and cloud storage environments.
