The IBM ESGA (feature code ESGA, part number 00LY324, CCIN 5B19) is a 387 GB Enterprise SAS solid-state drive formatted with 5xx (528-byte) sectors. It is mounted on an SFF-3 carrier for installation in POWER8 and POWER9 system-unit SAS bays. This high-endurance enterprise SSD is rated at 10 Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD) over a five-year period and delivers strong performance for IBM i workloads. Feature ESG9 is the physically identical AIX/Linux version.
