The IBM ESHS (feature code ESHS, part number 01LU805, CCIN 5B2B) is a 931 GB Mainstream SAS solid-state drive formatted with 4K (4224-byte) sectors. It is mounted on an SFF-3 carrier for installation in POWER8 and POWER9 system-unit SAS bays. This Mainstream SSD is rated at 1 Drive Write Per Day (DWPD) over a five-year period (approximately 1,700 TB total bytes written) and is specified at 6 Gb/s SAS. Feature ESHT is the physically identical IBM i version.

Does not support 4096-byte JBOD formatting. Older PCIe2 and earlier SAS adapters do not support 4K drives. Verify firmware levels and population rules via IBM documentation.
