The IBM ESGX (feature code ESGX, part number 00LY578, CCIN 5B1A) is a 775 GB Enterprise SAS solid-state drive formatted with 5xx (528-byte) sectors. It is mounted on an SFF-3 carrier for installation in POWER8 and POWER9 system-unit SAS bays. This high-endurance enterprise SSD is rated at 10 Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD) over a five-year period and delivers strong performance for AIX, Linux, and VIOS workloads. Feature ESGH is a physically related AIX/Linux feature for this same 5xx SFF-3 family. Feature ESGJ is the physically related IBM i version.
