    The IBM Power11 iSeries Disk Drives for 9824 Systems refer to storage options compatible with the latest IBM Power11 scale-out servers (machine type 9824), such as the S1122 (9824-22A) and S1124 (9824-42A) models. These systems use high-performance enterprise NVMe U.2 SSDs (PCIe4/PCIe5) in hot-swappable bays or optional NED24/NED48 expansion drawers. Power11 servers emphasize NVMe for maximum throughput, low latency, and AI-optimized workloads on IBM i, AIX, or Linux. Disk drives are sold as individual modules or configured in systems, with capacities from 3.2 TB to 15.3 TB per drive (Mainstream or Enterprise class), supporting RAID protection and full IBM i integration.

    Power11 (9824) systems feature:

    • Internal storage bays (e.g., EJ1X backplane with 4–16 U.2 NVMe slots).
    • Max internal capacity up to 244.8 TB (16 × 15.3 TB Mainstream NVMe U.2 4K SSD) or 102.4 TB (16 × 6.4 TB Enterprise NVMe U.2).
