Compatibility The IBM ESR0 NED24 NVMe Expansion Drawer is compatible with IBM Power Systems running IBM i, including Power11 models 9824-22A (Power S1122) and 9824-42A (Power S1124). Power10 models such as 9105-41B (Power S1014), 9105-22A (Power S1022), 9105-22B (Power S1022s), 9105-42A (Power S1024), 9043-MRX (E1050), and 9080-HEX (E1080). It requires appropriate PCIe NVMe adapter cards (e.g., feature codes for external NVMe attach) and cabling in the host system. The drawer supports IBM i native NVMe devices (e.g., ES5x, ES4x, ECTB series SSDs) with mirroring required for load source/boot drives. Not compatible with systems lacking external NVMe expansion support or non-PCIe Gen4 configurations.
