The IBM FlashSystem 5300 (model 4662-7H2) is a compact, entry-level NVMe all-flash storage system in a revolutionary 1U form factor. It delivers high performance, energy efficiency, and scalability for organizations needing powerful storage with unified data management across core, cloud, and edge environments. Powered by IBM Storage Virtualize software, it provides advanced features like inline compression, deduplication, ransomware threat detection, and virtualization. With more compute power and double the internal bandwidth compared to the predecessor FlashSystem 5200, it supports IBM FlashCore Modules (FCM) with hardware-accelerated compression and encryption, alongside industry-standard NVMe drives.
